Grasslands (2021)
Grasslands depicts the majesty of the Flint Hills of Kansas, and it is meant to make the listener feel as if they are walking through the region. The flowing melody and thick texture portray the constant hills and wind of the area. Meanwhile, the articulated sections display a more rugged side to the region. Along the way, the listener will hear a rattlesnake (snare drum), calm breezes, and wind rushing over the grassy hills.
