Chant (2020)

Chant is a two-movement piece for solo C flute and solo bass flute. This piece is inspired by Gregorian chant, and it uses similar pitch collections and musical ideas as this style. The piece is meant to calm the listener and invoke reflection. The movements can be performed together or separately.

Performances: This piece appeared in the 2021 KSU SAI Women in Music Concert.
