Scarborough Fair (2026)

This beginning symphony orchestra arrangement of Scarborough Fair takes the listener on an adventure! The piece begins slowly with musical “sighs”, and the melody flows through different sections. After one verse, there is a sudden shift to a faster dance-like feel. The percussion drives the ensemble forward through a more exciting verse. This is followed by a sea-shanty type section with little runs in the melody. Finally, the work returns to the original melody once more.
